The Marblehead Educators Association is the largest union in Marblehead with members across five units Pre-K-12 including teachers, instructional assistants, nurses, guidance counselors, librarians, custodians and mental health facilitators. We cover five schools: Marblehead High School, Marblehead Veterans Middle School, Village School, Glover School, and Browny School,.
The MEA is affiliated with the Massachusetts Teachers Association (MTA) and the National Education Association (NEA). and involved with the North Shore Labor Council and the North Shore Teachers United.
The MEA main goal is to respect our colleagues and build solidarity while ensuring that our negotiated contracts are applied fairly to all members.
